Establishment and Evolution

Public Administration as a subject or discipline was introduced in the Mohanlal Sukhadia University in 1984, however, Department of Public Administration became a separate Department in 1996.

Vision

The vision of the Department of Public Administration is to prepare dedicated and aware citizens and  highly-skilled young professionals committed to career in public services, voluntary organizations, or in the private sector; supported by evidence-based research that is carried out by universities and other organizations that contributes to an open debate on public policy options, programs and the ways that both policies and programs affect society.
